How do I put the pictures from my phone's memory card onto my computer?
I have a really tiny Micro SD card from my phone that has a bunch of pictures on it. I have a card reader for my computer but the problem is, the slots are way too huge for my memory card. My memory card is about the size of my pinky fingernail & the slots in the card reader probably fits memory card as big as a postage stamp... So how do I transfer the pictures on it to my computer? Thanks!
Arline Burnett answers:
You need an attachment that your memory card fits into which then fits into the computer like this one: http://www.ixdeal.com/items/kingston_2gb_microsd_memory_card_w_sd_adapter.jpg hope this helps

In a few weeks I am going to have reconstructive sugery for my ACL?
I have about 4 questions here: Some of my friends told me that they will record your surgery and take pictures for reference and to use for studies and such 1. Is that true? AND... 2. Can I get a copy of those pics? I want some. 3. How come you cant wear fingernail polish during surgery? I heard its b./c it will react with the anesthsia(sp?) and can cuase problems 4. Does anybody know how long it will take me to recover from the surgery? Will my leg hurt like crazy?
Arline Burnett answers:
Ans to Qu 1 & 2. Depends on the hospital. Some hospitals allow you to keep the recording as well as the ligament!!! Qu. 3. No idea. But generally, all foreign objects are not allowed in the OT. E. Contact lenses, dentures, etc. Qu. 4. If you are good with your physio therapy, you should be back to running in about 6 months. Leg will balloon in the first few weeks, and it will not be comfortable. Crutches for 6 weeks. With a leg brace for another 4 weeks. Good luck with the op and make sure they operate on the correct leg!!!

Do I have clubbed finger nails? (Pictures.)?
So I've been trying to grow my nails out lately and I noticed they look more rounded on the ends then other peoples and that it was bothering me. I also have really noticeable vertical lines down my nails. I didn't know why, so I looked up about the lines. And there was a list of possible problems with nails, one that mentioned clubbed fingernails and heart disease. This scared me because I have heart palpitations a lot. Racing of my heart and skipped beats. I had already previously made an appointment about this and it's tomorrow. It's a follow-up from another appointment I had where they did an EKG and blood work. They told me the EKG and blood work was fine, but I'm not sure why I need a follow-up then.. My mom said my grandpa died from a heart attack and he had several in his life and believe he had heart disease, but he never went to the Dr, so they don't know for sure.. So all this together is really scaring me. Do my fingernails look clubbed? They don't look normal to me... http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y205/Matakishi/Fingernails077.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y205/Matakishi/Fingernails076.jpg I already know my nails are ugly, before anyone says anything. I have desitin stuck under my index finger nail, too from putting it on my son. So that's why it looks weird.
Arline Burnett answers:
The angle on your nails is a little more than usual, but there can be other causes of clubbing. It is usually from poor oxygenation. That can be from heart disease or asthma or others of just a normal variant. Did you ask your doctor about heart disease or did you ask why your nails look like they do? On followup ask specifically why the nails look like they do.

Sorry for grammar/punctuation problems.. its late... n.n
Arline Burnett answers:
Well, a few years ago when I was still using msn, number 1 on your list used to piss me off too. Yeah, the face puts are a little strange. I think I might be a few years older than you but I remember when it was my first year out of high school, the emo thing started -- I had a friend who got into it. It did get a little annoying. I think just because it changed her, she became a bit different from the friend I liked. Plus I didn't like the music she started listening to. Yes, when people talk about sex and everything under that umbrella constantly -- yes it gets annoying. And I feel awkward. I hate how it's so commonplace to talk about those things and everyone is expected to be as open about that kind of thing. I'll add some of my own things -- busy bodies. The type who target and then start sniffing around you, trying to find out information about you and then use it to gossip or tell you that the way you're doing something in your life is wrong and you need to be some other way -- basically they just get over-involved in your life. They know all about how you need to be in life. It's actually a little creepy. People who think they're really cool/hot and somehow think they have the right to laugh/gossip/smirk at you for how you look, something you're wearing, how you act, etc. As in, they actually walk you pass you and start laughing and staring at you, etc. Especially people who judge you and think, oh you must be this sort of person -- and then give you sh*t for it, even if they're wrong. This kind of falls in the above category, but if you happen to not look like what is typically accepted as beauty these days, there's no contest: you're just ugly. And we have the right to say, "ew" or treat you badly because we don't think you're hot. And by the way: we are. (People like that). People who randomly start gossip/drama just because they're bored and need to be entertained -- or want to start a hate session on someone because that someone was oh-so-horrible to them. People who take advantage of someone else's kindness. Fake people (well we're all a little fake occasionally, but the people that you just can't figure out whether they actually like you or not, because there are so many other people that they sit there rolling their eyes about -- they're just a question mark.) And, if you're shy and quiet and don't drink (okay, me) there's something wrong with you.
